Behavior Problems
Behavior problems are the number one reason given for people giving up their pets. Often these problems could have been prevented with appropriate training, but more importantly, many are correctable. It will take time to undo what the pet has learned, but with consistency and patience, you can teach your pet the proper response to situations.
Behavior problems range from house training issues to serious 'aggression'. Sometimes the problem may be caused by a physical illness. It's important to rule out health problems to get the best result for you and your pet.
Diagnosing behavior problems and developing a plan to correct them takes a lot of time. It is helpful if you can make a list of the problems you are having and if possible, have a video of the behavior. We will also ask you to fill out a detailed questionaire about you, your pet and the environment where the pet lives.
Behavior is influenced by many things, and only by answering the questions honestly can we hope to give you a successful resolution to the problem.
